Chiropractic treatment using the Webster Technique can help
Chiropractic is a safe and gentle way to alleviate pregnancy associated joint pain. Expectant moms are often surprised to learn that chiropractic treatment can also be helpful for babies in breech position, that is, the baby’s position to exit is not headfirst, instead, feet or buttocks are pointing to the birth canal.
Dr. Ward utilizes a technique called the Webster Technique. This technique involves gentle chiropractic adjustments of the spine and pelvis, as well as ligamentous soft tissue release. This technique balances the pelvis and allows for optimal fetal positioning. During the process, Dr. Ward works collaboratively with your OBGYN, midwife, doula and/or any other members of your birth team.
Dr. Ward has helped many women using this technique including his wife before she delivered their daughter Gwen in 2015. Contact us and we will be happy to work with you.
